Cookies and storage
Not yet reviewed by a lawyer. This page explains in plain words how Aurnis works and what you can expect. It will be reviewed and may change before paid plans or public launch; if it changes in a way that matters to you, we will tell you.
Summary
Aurnis uses only the storage it needs to keep you signed in and to remember your choices. We do not use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies, pixels or scripts from other companies, and we do not follow you across other sites. Because everything we store is needed for the service you asked for, we do not show a cookie banner. If we ever add anything that needs your consent, we will ask first and list it here.
In the Aurnis app (app.aurnis.com)
| Name | What it is for | Type | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
sb-…-auth-token | Keeps you signed in. Set by our sign-in provider (Supabase) for the app. | Cookie, strictly necessary | Until you sign out or the session expires |
theme | Remembers light, dark or “match my device”. | Browser storage (localStorage), your choice | Until you clear it |
aurnis-shell-v1 | Lets the app show an offline page and install as an app. Holds only the offline page, never your data. | Browser cache (service worker) | Until the app is updated or you clear it |
| Push notification address | Lets us send a notification to a device where you allowed them. Stored on our servers, not as a cookie; you can remove it in Settings or by blocking notifications in your browser. | Permission-based | Until you turn notifications off |
The only cookie in the app is the sign-in cookie, which is first-party and marked “secure” and “same-site”. Aurnis sets no cookies of its own: even the space you opened last is remembered in your account, not in a cookie.
On this website (aurnis.com)
The marketing site sets no cookies. It saves your light or dark choice in your browser (aurnis-theme) so the page does not flash the wrong theme. Fonts and icons come from our own servers, not from another company. The early-access form sends your email to us and to no one else.
Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes network requests to deliver and protect the sites and may set a security cookie to tell people from bots. That is necessary for the service and is not used for tracking.
Your choices
- You can delete cookies and site storage in your browser at any time. You will be signed out and the app will forget your choices.
- You can turn notifications off in Settings or in your browser.
- Browser signals such as “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control are respected automatically: we do not track or sell, so there is nothing to switch off.
If this changes
Before we add any cookie or tool that is not strictly necessary, such as analytics, we will update this page and the Privacy notice, and ask for your consent where the law requires it. Questions: privacy@aurnis.com.
